Embroidery Specs

There are no minimums for embroidery. Turnaround time will vary by job and time of year. Our normal turn time is 10 working days. If you have a “need by” date please tell us, it may not be a problem. If we can fit it into our current schedule, there will be no rush charge on any job, ever.

The cost of any embroidery job is based on the number of stitches in the design. On items we supply the final cost quoted will include the item and the embroidery. On items you supply we will quote the cost based on the design. The minimum embroidery charge on supplied items is $5.00. Additional charges will apply for multiple locations. ex. left chest and right sleeve.

Depending on your design, an initial setup will probably be done. Digitizing costs will vary. We’ll need a clear print or good quality computer file in order to create good embroidery. Our setup charges are based on the number of stitches in the design and it’s difficulty. The minimum charge for a design setup is $45.00. Lower setup charges apply to stock lettering. We have an extensive catalogue of pre-setup embroidery designs that have no setup charge. While there is no “normal” size for a logo, the average size is about 5000 stitches. The embroidery price formula is roughly :

1 - 10 pcs x $1.00 / thousand x 5000 stitches = $5.00 each
11-23 pcs x $.85 / thousand x 5000 stitches = $4.25
24-48 pcs x $.75 / thousand x 5000 stitches =$ 3.75
49-72 pcs x $.65 / thousand x 5000 stitches =$ 3.25
72 -up pcs x $.50 / thousand x 5000 stitches = $2.50
